NoMad Hotels: Hilton’s Luxury Lifestyle Brand

Last updated August 20, 2026

NoMad is the smallest brand Hilton owns. The fact sheet updated August 2026 counts one hotel open, 91 rooms, one country and three hotels in development. Hilton calls it the first brand in the portfolio that is luxury and lifestyle at the same time.

Hilton bought its way in. On 3 April 2024 it announced a majority controlling interest in Sydell Group, the New York developer that owns the NoMad brand. Hilton disclosed no price at the time. Its annual SEC filing later put the figure at $56 million, reported by Skift on 6 February 2025, which made it one of the cheapest brand deals a major hotel group has done in years.

One hotel, and a correction worth making

NoMad London is the only NoMad you can book. NoMad Las Vegas was excluded from the Sydell transaction, and it stopped being a NoMad on 17 December 2025, when MGM rebranded the 293 room property as The Reserve at Park MGM (Travel Weekly, 1 December 2025; Hotel Dive, 2 December 2025). It joined Marriott’s Autograph Collection in early 2026, so it earns and redeems through Marriott Bonvoy.

Any source describing two NoMad hotels is out of date.

NoMad London

It opened on 25 May 2021 in the Grade II listed former Bow Street Magistrates’ Court and Police Station at 28 Bow Street, opposite the Royal Opera House. The police station ran for 111 years to 1992. The court heard its last case in 2006, after 266 years (Business Traveller, 26 March 2024). EPR Architects handled the building and Roman and Williams did the interiors. The original courtroom is now the Magistrates’ Ballroom.

The fact sheet counts 91 rooms. Business Traveller’s March 2024 review breaks that into 75 rooms of 23 to 32 square metres and 16 suites of 35 to 70. Hilton’s own property page phrases it as “91 rooms and 16 suites”, which reads as 107 and contradicts the fact sheet. Use 91.

Food and drink is the reason to care about this hotel. Twenty8 NoMad sits under the glass roofed atrium and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with afternoon tea Thursday to Sunday and weekend brunch. Hilton launched it on 18 June 2025 as a rework of the original NoMad Restaurant, built around a custom eight foot wood burning hearth, with Bryce Shuman as culinary director and Zak Gregoire as executive chef. Side Hustle, the agave led bar in the old police station, won Best International Hotel Bar at the 2025 Spirited Awards. The Library does all day dining and coffee. Common Decency, the basement cocktail bar, runs as private events space now.

NoMad London took one MICHELIN Key in 2025, the only Hilton branded hotel in the UK or Ireland to receive one (Head for Points, 12 October 2025).

What is coming

NoMad Hilton Singapore is next. Hilton announced it on 4 May 2025 as a 173 bedroom hotel on Orchard Road with UOL Group as owner and developer, then targeted for early 2027. On 28 June 2026 Hilton Asia Pacific pulled that forward to late 2026 and named the 19 storey property’s four outlets: NoMad Grill, Sticky Fingers, The Tropicana Club and Lù Bar.

NoMad Detroit follows in early 2027. Hilton announced it on 2 June 2025: close to 180 rooms including 30 suites, on the west side and the top five floors of The Station at Michigan Central, the 1913 tower Ford has restored.

The August 2026 fact sheet says three hotels in development and names two. The third is not published.

Hilton’s stated ambition is as many as 100 NoMad properties, with about 10 in advanced discussion at the time of the deal. Skift reported in February 2025 that the working expectation was closer to 30 or 50. Either way, planning a NoMad trip in 2026 means planning a London trip.

Points and elite benefits

NoMad takes part in Hilton Honors in full. Earning is the standard 10 base points per US dollar under the terms and conditions. Free night certificates work: Frequent Miler redeemed one at NoMad London and published the stay on 18 March 2025.

There is no published award price, because Hilton publishes no award chart for any brand. Frequent Miler saw 95,000 points a night in March 2025. Upgraded Points saw entry level Classic rooms from 95,000 points against cash around £697 in August 2025. Both are observations of live pricing on particular dates. Run the points valuation guide against your own.

On elite benefits, Hilton’s brand table puts NoMad at a $25 food and beverage credit in the US and complimentary continental breakfast outside it (LoyaltyLobby, 25 July 2024). At NoMad London in practice, Frequent Miler was offered a choice of cold continental, hot continental, or £25 off the à la carte menu. A full cooked breakfast is chargeable. There is no executive lounge, and Hilton lists no lounge benefit for the brand. That same Diamond stay came with turndown and a welcome amenity, and no room upgrade.

Where it sits in Hilton’s luxury tier

Hilton groups NoMad on hilton.com under luxury alongside Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad and Signia. The August 2026 fact sheet names Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR as its tier peers.

Hilton publishes no ranking inside that group. The claim it does make is categorical: NoMad is its first brand combining luxury and lifestyle. In practice the Waldorf Astoria is the choice if you want a doorman, a marble lobby and a concierge desk. NoMad is a hotel built around its restaurants and bars, with 91 rooms above them.

With one hotel open, choosing NoMad means choosing NoMad London. Judge it as a single hotel in Covent Garden and the brand question takes care of itself.

Frequently asked questions

How many NoMad hotels are there?

One. NoMad London. The fact sheet updated August 2026 counts one hotel, 91 rooms, one country and three hotels in development.

Is NoMad Las Vegas still a NoMad?

No. MGM rebranded it as The Reserve at Park MGM on 17 December 2025 and moved it into Marriott’s Autograph Collection in early 2026. It was excluded from Hilton’s acquisition of Sydell Group.

Can you book NoMad London with Hilton Honors points?

Yes, and free night certificates work there. Hilton publishes no award chart, so the price moves with demand. Two reviewers recorded 95,000 points a night during 2025.

Does NoMad London include breakfast?

A full cooked breakfast is chargeable. Gold and Diamond members are offered a choice of cold continental, hot continental, or £25 off the à la carte menu.

When does NoMad Singapore open?

Is NoMad more expensive than Conrad?

They sit in the same tier. NoMad London prices like a Covent Garden luxury hotel, which is high, though that is the address as much as the brand.
