Points or cash on 2 sample nights
Prices on hilton.com on October 14, 2026, for 1 night with 2 adults, on the flexible rate before tax. Cents per point is the cash rate divided by the points price. On Saturday, November 21, only a 2-bedroom suite was left, at 419,000 points or $1,523, so the Saturday below is December 5.
| Night | Room | Points | Cash | Cents per point |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wed, Nov 18, 2026 | 2 Queen Beds | 37,000 | $139 | 0.38 |

| Sat, Dec 5, 2026 | 2 Queen Beds, Corner | 63,000 | $229 | 0.36 |
A Universal view cost 2,000 points and $10 more than a standard room on the Wednesday. Every room on the sample nights returned 0.36 to 0.38 cents per point, a little below the 0.43 that my 2023 points price worked out to.
Book it if
- You want to walk to Universal Orlando and CityWalk, 0.5 miles away.
- You’re booking a midweek night on points. The sample Wednesday started at 37,000.
- You want a Universal view for a small step up, 2,000 points or $10 on the sample Wednesday.
Skip it if
- Volcano Bay is the reason for your trip between October 26, 2026, and April 1, 2027. Hilton’s page says it’s closed for maintenance.
- You’re traveling on a busy Saturday. On November 21 only a 2-bedroom suite was left, at 419,000 points.
- No one in your room is 21 yet. That’s the minimum check-in age.

How I rated it
4.1 out of 5, scored with the method on my rating page and only the facts above.
- Points value: fair and steady, 0.36 to 0.38 cents per point on the sample nights, with midweek award nights at 37,000 to 39,000 points.
- Diamond benefits: nothing posted on my folios.
- Location: strong for Universal Orlando, CityWalk and Epic Universe.
- Cost beyond the room: moderate. Self parking is $34 a night, and my 2 most recent stays had no charges beyond tax.
- Room condition: my records don’t cover the rooms, so it doesn’t move the score.
