Short version: My 2 nights in a Disney Springs view king cost 70,000 points and $71.87 in cash, with no resort charge and a $30 breakfast credit each day.

Best for: Disney Springs on foot by skybridge, and Walt Disney World on points.

Watch for: Self parking at $38 a day plus tax, up from the $22 on my folio.

Stayed: February 2021

My stay

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in February 2021. It’s a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Disney Springs and an Official Walt Disney World Hotel.

I booked a king room with a Disney Springs view as a Standard Room Reward at 35,000 points a night, 70,000 in all.

The confirmation listed a $70 resort charge for the 2 nights. None posted on the folio, which matches Hilton’s rule that reward stays carry no resort fees.

Self parking posted at $22.00 a night plus $1.43 in tax.

The folio shows 3 charges at Citrus 28, the hotel’s market: $31.73 and $12.92 on the first day and $40.36 on the second, $85.01 in all. A $30.00 Hilton Honors breakfast credit posted on each of those days.

Folio line Amount
Room, 2 nights 70,000 points
Resort charge None
Self parking with tax, 2 nights $46.86
Citrus 28, 3 charges $85.01
Hilton Honors breakfast credit, 2 days −$60.00
Cash total $71.87

Points or cash on 2 sample nights

Prices on hilton.com on October 14, 2026, for 1 night with 2 adults, on the flexible rate before tax. Cents per point is the cash rate divided by the points price. November 11 was sold out, so these are the following week.

Night Room Points Cash Cents per point
Wed, Nov 18, 2026 1 King Bed 65,000 $240 0.37
Wed, Nov 18, 2026 Disney Springs View, 1 King Bed, Tower 100,000 $343 0.34
Sat, Nov 21, 2026 1 King Bed 65,000 $249 0.38
Sat, Nov 21, 2026 Disney Springs View, 1 King Bed, Tower 85,000 $298 0.35

My room type cost 35,000 points a night in 2021. On the sample nights it priced at 85,000 and 100,000. Changed since my stay. The cents-per-point figures leave out the resort charge, which a cash night adds and a reward night skips.

Book it if

  • You want Disney Springs on foot, across the skybridge.
  • You’re booking on points. My award stay had no resort charge.
  • You’ll eat at Citrus 28. The Hilton Honors breakfast credit covered $60 of my $85.01 there.

Skip it if

  • You’re bringing a dog over 40 pounds, or a cat. The hotel takes dogs up to 40 pounds only.
  • You want a Disney Springs view on points. It ran 85,000 to 100,000 points on the sample nights.
  • You drive every day. Self parking is $38 plus tax.

How I rated it

4.0 out of 5, scored with the method on my rating page and only the facts above.

  • Points value: fair. Standard kings returned 0.37 and 0.38 cents per point before the resort charge, and a reward night skips that charge.
  • Diamond benefits: strong on my stay. A $30 breakfast credit posted on both days.
  • Location: strong. The skybridge reaches Disney Springs, and the shuttle and early entry cover the parks.
  • Cost beyond the room: a resort charge on cash stays and parking at $38 plus tax, up from $22.
  • Room condition: my records don’t cover the room, so it doesn’t move the score.
