The standard king suite returned 0.41 cents per point midweek and 0.29 on the Saturday. My room type, the corner suite, priced at 178,000 to 203,000 points, so I’d book it with cash. A reward night also skips the $25 destination charge.

How I rated it
3.8 out of 5, scored with the method on my rating page and only the facts above.
- Points value: mixed. 0.41 cents per point on a midweek king suite, 0.29 on the Saturday and 0.21 to 0.22 for the corner suite.
- Diamond benefits: nothing posted on my folio. Breakfast is free for every guest.
- Location: good. 2 Metro stations within 4 blocks, and the main sights within 3 miles.
- Cost beyond the room: high. The $25 destination charge and parking added $72.99 a night on my stay, and parking has since risen.
- Room condition: my records don’t cover the suite, so it doesn’t move the score.
