How I rated it

4.2 out of 5, scored with the method on my rating page and only the facts above.

  • Points value: good on the sample Saturday at 0.48 to 0.51 cents per point, fair to weak midweek at 0.26 to 0.38.
  • Diamond benefits: breakfast is free for every guest here, and no credit posted on my folios.
  • Location: strong for the Smokies and downtown Gatlinburg, 0.5 miles away.
  • Cost beyond the room: low. Self parking is $15 a day, and neither folio has a resort charge.
  • Room condition: my records don’t cover the suites, so it doesn’t move the score.
