My stay
My wife and I spent 1 night at Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport in September 2025. It’s an Embassy Suites by Hilton on NE 82nd Avenue, half a mile from Portland International Airport.
I booked a king room listed as a special view, as a Premium Room Reward at 58,000 points. My confirmation listed self parking at $20 a day.

Checked October 14, 2026, on hilton.com. Anything that changed since my stay is marked.
- Location: 7900 NE 82nd Avenue. Hilton lists Portland International Airport and Cascade Station, with tax-free shopping, at 0.5 miles, the University of Portland at 5 and the city center at 7.
- Getting around: a free airport shuttle, about 5 minutes to PDX, and the MAX Red Line a 10-minute walk away.
- Breakfast and reception: a free made-to-order breakfast and an evening reception.
- Dining: Waters Bar and Grille, with room service from 5 pm to 10 pm.
- Pool and fitness: an indoor pool and a fitness center with Peloton equipment.
- WiFi: free for Hilton Honors members who book direct, $4.95 otherwise.
- Parking: self parking $20 a day, the same as on my 2025 confirmation.
- Pets: up to 2 dogs or cats, at $75 for 1 to 4 nights and $125 for 5 nights or more.
- Check-in and check-out: 4 pm and 11 am. The smoking fee is up to $250.

On the Wednesday the mountain view suite cost $20 more in cash and 6,000 fewer points than the plain 2-room suite, so it returned 0.36 cents per point. The 2-room suite ranged from 0.29 midweek to 0.37 on the Saturday.

- You have an early or late flight from PDX. The free shuttle takes about 5 minutes.
- You want breakfast before the flight at no extra cost.
- You’re booking the mountain view suite on points. It held at 52,000 on both sample nights.

- Your trip is mostly downtown. The city center is 7 miles away.
